Turtle Friends Decorative Mat Embellishment

 Hey, Scrappers!

Have you ever thought of creating a decorative piece for your Scrapbooking pages? I know I have. I have used many die cut pieces of my pages, but I have been wanting to create a larger version of an embellishment decor piece and this is my first one.

The size is a regular card base front that measures 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". I have SO many ideas for these now and cannot wait to add them to my future pages. I am a huge fan of trying to create an idea myself first, then if I cannot, then purchase it. Just think of all the possibilities and just think if you are a cardmaker then you could design a card as well. Or....oh my goodness, the thought just came to me!!! You could design a card and place a photo inside as a interactive piece on a page! Anyone else have these aha, moments?

To create my decorative embellishment mat:

1.) Pool Party base layer: 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"

2.) Place Pool Party base into the Dandelion embossing folder and run it through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.

3.) With the paper trimmer, cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 3" x 4-1/2".

4.) Using the Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper cut (3) different patterns down to 1-1/2" x 3" and adhere to the Basic White cardstock piece.

5.) Adhere Basic White piece to the embossed Pool Party and tie a bow with the Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon.

6.) Stamp the Turtles with Pool Party ink, punching out the largest turtle, and then fussy cut the smaller ones adhering them to paper panels with mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Turtle Friends Box

 Hey Scrappers!

What do you think about this adorable box! OMG!!! Today's featured Stamp Set is Turtle Friends Bundle This is the sweetest set and can also be bundled with the turtle punch saving you 10%.

Final box dimensions are 2-1/4" x 1-1/2" x 2-1/4", so it will hold quite a bit of goodies or money.

If you follow me you know that one of the crafty resolutions I have been working on is using colors for images other than what they typically are and I must say, this little turtle looks much better in Blushing Bride than he would in a green or brown shade.

The box circle is attached to the box for easy opening and closing.

To receive a FREE PDF, please fill out the contact form on the Home page of my blog with your email address and I will send you one.

I also used the Give it a Whirl Dies to create the top and bottom of the box with a scalloped edge and the largest Layering Circle Dies in the beautiful Marblelous 6 x 6 Paper Pack that you may earn for FREE during Sale-a-Bration which will end February 28, 2022.

Hello Ladybug

 Hey, Hey Scrappers!

What do you think of this adorable Hello Ladybug page? I think it turned out really cute. I had to go outside my comfort zone and not create them the traditional black and white. Do any of you have a hard time creating outside the normal range of what things actually are in terms of color. I really struggle with it when coloring and designing, but I am working on it.

This is really an easy, simple page for a beginner scrapbooker. I used the Hello Friendly Bundle Designer Series Paper that you may now earn as a FREE item with an order of $50 increments. I used the Ladybug Builder Punch to create the ladybugs.

                                                     Ladybug Builder Punch  #157698

To create the wings, I used some of the designer paper and the others I used the White Embossing powder and heat set them.

                                                    Stampin' Emboss Powders  #155554

Sweet Conversations Valentine Page

Hey Scrappers!

In honor of Valentine's Day, I created a page with a Heart Balloon bouquet using the Sweet Hearts Dies that coordinate with the Sweet Conversations Stamp Set.

                                                            Sweet Conversations Stamp Set

                                                                  Sweet Hearts Dies

Complete supply list is below after the directions on how I created this page.

1.) Using multiple cardstock color scraps of Highland Heather, Petal Pink, and Real Red die cut the various sizes of hearts out of the Sweet Hearts Dies using the Mini Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.

2.) Use the Stampin' Seal Adhesive to adjust your balloon hearts on your base sheet. Add the strings of your ribbon with the Real Red 3/8" Faux Linen Ribbon and tie them off with White Twine.

3.) Die cut (3) photo mats using the Stitched Rectangles. I used (2) sizes of the rectangles-one for a photo mat and the other for some background for my photos.

All For Baby Interactive Scrapbooking Page

 Hey Scrappers!!

Happy Fri-Yay!!! I hope everyone has had a great week! How many of you will be watching the Super Bowl this weekend??? I have a Scrapbooking Crop I am attending virtually so I won't be watching. Back when I would watch I would only get excited for the commercials and the half-time show. Anyone, else?

This page was inspired by the "All for Baby" Bundle. This is the cutest Stamp Set bundle EVER!! I have some baby pictures of my son, who is now thirty-six years old now, lol...but, I still have pictures that need to be in the albums. Have you ever just had the best time with a stamp set and dies? This is how this set was for me-I really enjoyed all the pieces that are offered.

Great for Boys or Girls photos!!

The border side piece is interactive-you may pull it down to display all the characters and pieces as shown below.

Supply List Below after Directions.

To create my page:

1.) For the base of the page I chose to use Pacific Point 12 x 12 cardstock. The interactive Base is Balmy Blue cardstock cut to 4-1/4" x 11". Score on the 11" side @ 2-1/2", 3-3/4", 6-3/4", and 8-1/4".

2.) Fold and Burnish all score lines in both directions with a bone folder. Then refold in a mountain-valley fold.

3.) You will need (2) Basic White cardstock squares cut to 4-1/8" x 4-1/8" and (3) pieces of the Simply Marbleous 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper cut @ (2) 4" x 4" and (1) @ 2-1/4" x 4". Glue these on your Basic White Cardstock pieces then onto the Interactive Card base.

4.) Using the  All for Baby Bundle stamp your images and then use the Dies with the Mini Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine to cut out the images. Adhere with Stampin' Demensionals for added dimension. Using your Pacific Point Classic Stampin' Pad stamp your sentiment(s).

5.) Lastly, with the Playful Alphabet Dies, die cut your Title and adhere with your favorite adhesive of choice.

Sentimental Swirls

 Hey Scrappers!

Happy Friday!!! Today, I am bringing a technique that looks complicated, but it's not. This is a great page for using up your scrap pieces of paper. I am also using the Sentimental Swirls Stamp Set on the squares in the center.

To create my page:

1.) Take the largest Scalloped Circle from the Layering Circle Dies and die cut (7) of them. The page will only take (6), but I always cut out an extra in case I mess up. After you have die cutted them out with the Mini Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine use your Paper Snips to cut them in fourths.

2.) Now decide which side of the paper you want showing outwards the most. Once decided, start with the pointed end and fold down to the scalloped edge, doing this to all the pieces. Next, begin placing your folded pieces around in a circle matching the ends up.

3.) Paper Trimmer cut (6) 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" squares out of Basic White cardstock. Before placing inside your scalloped creations, stamp images onto the squares with the Sentimental Swirls Stamp Set using the Petal Pink Stampin' Pad

4.) Last, cut (2) Basic White Base Photo mats to 4-1/8" x 4-1/8" and (2) pieces measuring 4" x 4" out of Petal Pink cardstock.

Happy Scrapping! Supply List is below! :)

Floral Squares

 Hey Scrappers!

Who loves bright colors? This is a page devoted to all of you, including myself that do! Winter will be over soon, so I am breaking out the colors.

You might think that there is a piece of Designer Series Paper in the background, but it's not. I used the All Squared Away Stamp Set to create my own patterned paper in Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo, and So Saffron Ink Pads.

The Floral Square Dies offered a secondary element on the 2" x 2" squared embellishments.

Photo Mats Backgrounds are from the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper pack that you can earn for FREE with a $50 product credit order. For each $50 increment spent a FREE reward comes your way.

Some of the FREE Stamp Sets you may earn.
